Arnold Plant Hire LTD order Volvo Loading Shovels

Looking to replace a pair of competitive models for an on-going long term contract hire, the company chose Volvo models. “We’ve had experience with excavators from the Volvo range that gave us good reliability and availability but this is the first time we’ve switched to their loading shovels,” explained Arnold Plant’s service director Alan Laithwaite. “This coupled to the outcome of a recent demonstration and the very positive feedback from the personnel on site persuaded us in taking a leap of faith with the L50Fs.”….

541-70 wastemaster Tele-handler

We have a 541-70 wastemaster working with SG Revolution tyres in an environment of various waste products which are then blended into a mixture for the cement industry.

The Tele-handler has a 1.7m cube bucket on to load the hopper which mixes the products then the end product fills into 2 bunkers where the Telehandler then fills bulkers and 8 wheelers with the finished product, with the larger 4ton unit and bucket to complement the size the loading time has been reduced by at least 33%! Working alongside the 541-70 is a 535-95 with SG Revolution tyres but this unit has forks on and is used to de-containerise bulk bags then the same unit is used to handle the bulk bags locate them prior to splitting to start the mixture process.
